About the Vineyard
Vino in the Valley is a unique, outdoor dining experience designed to stimulate all your senses. Every Thursday and Saturday night, as well as Sunday afternoons May 15th through September 27th, enjoy a glass of wine and a pasta dinner among the vines in an outdoor setting nestled in the heart of the Rush River Valley. You'll take in the sites of the emerging vineyard while dining on Italian nachos, gourmet pizzas, pasta and sipping area made wine in addition to wines from all over the world. Acoustic music from local artists will add to the ambiance that also includes a small gift shop and farmer's market.
Vino in the Valley is also open weekends only in October for the Pumpkin Patch Family weekends and Thanksgiving weekend and all December weekends for "Christmas at Vino in the Valley".
After dinner, take a stroll around the vineyard, along the river, and relax near one of the bonfires.

Rush River Valley
Vino in the Valley is located less than an hour east of the Twin Cities, 8 miles east of Ellsworth, WI, just off Highway 10, and is in close proximity to a number of cities and small towns known for their charm including Maiden Rock, Red Wing, Pepin, Stockholm and Chippewa Falls. Plan an overnight stay at one of the nearby bed and breakfasts.
The vineyard is five acres of vines planted to produce six grapes designed to stand and thrive in the western Wisconsin climate. Vino in the Valley wine will eventually be produced from the vineyard harvests. Vines planted include three red - Frontenac, Sabrevois, Marquette – and three white - Frontenac Gris, La Crescent, and Prairie Star. |
