After dinner, take a stroll around the vineyard, along the river, and relax near one of the bonfires.

Now with seating for up to 120, Vino in the Valley is the perfect setting for private functions such as showers, family reunions, and even weddings on Saturdays from noon until 4 p.m.

Vino in the Valley is the vision and passion of owner Larry Brenner who built the establishment on his 300-acre farm. “Our motto is ‘Good Vino. Good View. Good Vibes.’” explains Brenner. Twin Cities radio exec by day and entrepreneur by night, Brenner says, “We pride ourselves in our personal service, delicious Italian food, both locally-made and internationally-known wines, all in a scenic, romantic atmosphere.” Each night, Brenner and his staff lead guests in a round of “That’s Amore” and a toast.

Less than an hour drive from the Twin Cities, Maiden Rock is a historic river and railroad village set at the edge of the Mississippi River and engulfed by rolling farmland and creek gullies swarming with turkey, deer and wetland fowl.

The vineyard is four acres of vines planted to produce six grapes designed to withstand and thrive in the western Wisconsin climate. Vino in the Valley wine will eventually be produced from the vineyard harvests.  Vines planted include three red (Frontenac, Sabrevois, Marquette) and three white (Frontenac Gris, La Crescent, and Prairie Star). Currently, Vino in the Valley serves wines from grapes from local vineyards including Rush River Red, Lost Creek Sunset and Moonlight Whisper.

Reservations are welcome for groups of eight or more. For more information, sample menus and directions to Vino in the Valley, please visit www.vinointhevalley.com, call 715-639-6677, or email larry@vinointhevalley.com
