New at Vino in the Valley

Vino in the Valley Opens May 7, 2015We sure missed you this winter and this recent round of nice weather made us even more excited for season 2015 at Vino in the Valley. We’ll be opening doors for the season on Thursday, May 7. We can’t wait for you to see what we’ve been up to! Here’s a teaser of what’s in store for our guests this season:

  • Our kitchen staff has been busy creating a unique line-up of special entrees! Just what they do will remain our secret… that is until the day they are announced as a day or weekend special. Watch our Facebook page for special announcements. And, you never know, the most popular of these dishes may make their way on to our regular menu someday?!
  • Last season we announced that Vino in the Valley private label red and blush would be produced by Cannon River Winery. The feedback on our “new” Rush River Red and Lost Creek Sunset was so overwhelming, that we made the decision to have Cannon River Winery produce our Moonlight Whisper white, too. Crisp and refreshing; we can’t wait for you white wine lovers to try it!
  • No more walking across the grass (unless you want to). A new sidewalk will guide our guests from the pavilion to our Bella Sera patio bar. And we’re expanding our patio area to allow more space for umbrella covered patio tables. What a great spot to enjoy a bottle of wine and some entertainment on a sunny summer afternoon.
  • Protecting our environment here in the valley has always been a top priority for us. To even further reduce our carbon footprint, we’re installing solar panels and are proud that beginning this season our operation will be partially run by renewable solar power.

And now for the most exciting addition of all… we worked with the great people at Open Air Solutions to recommend a solution that would allow us to maintain our open air atmosphere, while also offering sun, wind and weather protection for our guests. After discussing our options we chose to install Motion Vinyls on the Pavilion. With the push of a button we can enclose our eating area should inclement weather roll in. We can also enclose the Pavilion for our Christmas at Vino in the Valley weekends, and keep our guests toasty warm, while still offering a clear view of the winter scenery! We’re so happy with our decision that we partnered with Open Air Solutions on a television commercial. Have you seen it? If not, you can view it here.

So now you understand why we’re particularly excited to kick off our 2015 season on Thursday, May 7, and are literally counting the days until our opening night! We look forward to seeing you all soon!
