Mark Your Calendars for the 12th Annual Rush River Folk Festival!

Labor Day weekend is about to get a whole lot more musical!

Join us on Saturday, August 30, from 1–9 p.m. for the 12th Annual Rush River Folk Festival here at Vino in the Valley.

This much-loved event is the result of a special collaboration between our own Larry and longtime Chippewa Valley musician Davey J. Over the years, the festival has grown into a cherished tradition and a highlight of the regional music scene—bringing together talented performers, a breathtaking setting, and a welcoming community vibe.

Best of all, admission is free! Everyone is welcome—whether you’re a devoted folk music fan or just loo

king for a laid-back afternoon in the countryside. Bring your blanket or lawn chairs and settle in along the scenic Rush River valley. Between sets, enjoy our delicious food, refreshing beer, wine, and various other beverages, all served with the beautiful Rush River Valley as our backdrop.

This year’s artists are:

  • Andy Hanson (1–2:30 p.m.): For artistic inspiration, Andy draws from a diverse range of influences, blending the timeless artistry of folk legends from the 1960s with the fresh perspectives of contemporary songwriters.
  • Little Wing (3-4:30 p.m.): Little Wing features the virtuosity and versatility of Faith Ulwelling, with a vocal style that channels 60s soul, Delta blues, and other roots music classics.
  • Matt Yetter (5-6:30 p.m.): Yetter is the real deal: an old-school, slide guitar playing, harmonica-tooting country blues artist who characterizes music as “a way of making a connection to everybody all at once.”
  • Davey J and Duffy (8:30 p.m.): Davey J (David Jones) is a well-loved performer, playing on stages large and small for more than 30 years in the Upper Midwest. Duffy Duyfhuizen was born and raised in New York City and came to Eau Claire in 1984 by way of Tulsa, Okla. His musical influences include urban folk and country folk.

Come for the music, stay for the view, and make a memory or two at the Rush River Folk Festival. We can’t wait to see you!
